We're seeking a Spanish Teaching Assistant to join our team at Summit Olympus in Tacoma, WA. This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant, growing organization that is dedicated to transforming public education for its students!

Education and Experience 
Any combination equivalent to graduation with a bachelors degree and one year of experience in working with children in an organized setting.  Most importantly, applicants must possess flexibility, curiosity, perseverance, a sense of humor and a burning passion to see students succeed.

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Must be fluent in Spanish
  • Knowledge of child guidance principles and practices; basic subjects taught in District schools, including arithmetic, grammar, spelling, language and reading; basic record-keeping techniques. Ability to: assist with instruction and related activities in a Spanish program; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others; operate instructional and office equipment.
