Programs

We support the startup and development of charter public schools through an array of programs. Learn more about what we’re doing to design high-quality schools, grow the movement and support educators throughout the state.

Membership

WA Charters is a membership organization, which means we offer a variety of services and supports to our members, including access to trainings, professional development opportunities, discounted vendor services, and discounts on support for school development.

School Incubation

As a charter public school incubator, WA Charters helps leaders and design teams develop high-quality school models in order to dramatically impact the lives of Washington students. We partner with universities, school districts, charter management organizations, nonprofit organizations, and education experts to put new schools in a position to succeed.

Community Engagement

WA Charters parent, family and community engagement efforts are focused on ensuring that charter public schools reflect the context, experiences and needs of the unique communities in which they are located. Our growing parent programming gives parents opportunities to exercise their voice, advocate at the school and state level, and become leaders in the movement to improve public education in Washington state.

True Measure Collaborative

The True Measure Collaborative serves as a full partner to member charter schools, offering robust, centralized expertise and supports that promote compliant, effective, and innovative practices for meeting the needs of students faced with barriers to academic achievement, including those with disabilities.
