As the valedictorian of the first graduating class in the school’s history that started at SIA as freshmen, Sawyer is proud of his accomplishment and of his classmates.

Suhayb describes himself as confident and curious. He’s always trying to learn new things and he never shies away from a public speaking opportunity.

Tinsae Lopez is the valedictorian of Rainier Valley Leadership Academy’s Class of 2024. Today, Tinsae has already earned college credits toward his 4-year degree supporting his career plan toward accounting as he works to build and sustain momentum toward his future.

Chelsea was awarded the Act Six Scholarship this spring. And this proud graduate of Summit Public Schools | Olympus’ Class of 2024 will attend Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) on a full scholarship in the fall.

At Whatcom Intergenerational High School, Erik’s favorite part was the community. “Everyone is inclusive and non-judgmental. Everyone cares about each other and isn’t putting each other down. It’s a community where we build each other up.”

Lina Cousineau Aguero is one of the original students of Summit Public Schools Atlas. As one of its Class of 2024 graduates, she is both a founding student and foundational to how the school grew and evolved to meet the needs of the students it serves.

“Community is bigger than just schools. It’s everyone pushing you along the way, the family and friends making you want to be better.” Savannah found teachers that “definitely helped with my ability to learn and grow,” she says.
