Impact Public Schools (IPS) is seeking a diverse group of individuals who are looking to start a career in teaching and do not yet have a teaching certification. Why This is a Unique Opportunity
- Work with 35-40 amazing Impact students, potentially across multiple grades, who are continuing their learning at home for the 21-22 school year.
- Teaching Fellows gain real experience in the classroom co-teaching with an experienced educator who has a track record of success
- Teaching Fellows get individualized coaching and attend weekly professional development aimed at building key teaching skills
- Teaching Fellows are encouraged to seek a Washington teaching certification. After one year of experience, Fellows enrolled in certification programs can apply for higher level positions in Impact schools
Location
Impact at Home teachers may work from home, though must be willing to travel to campus for Grade Level Team meetings and professional development each week. This position may ultimately flex into an in the building position. Therefore, applicants must live in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area, in case a return to building is necessary.
