On September 5th, 2017, the Trump Administration announced its decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. While the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is not accepting requests from individuals who have never before been granted deferred action under DACA, DACA recipients whose status has expired – or is set to expire – can apply for a new two-year permit.
