This is an opportunity to meet two leading experts on blended learning, Brian Greenberg and Kate Coxon, and to engage with district change agents, future charter starters and advocacy partners. Brian Greenberg
Brian Greenberg is a former Chief Academic Officer, charter school founder, principal, and classroom teacher with organizations including Envision Schools, Leadership Public Schools, and the Los Angeles Unified School District. His leadership and service include roles with the Stanford University Principal Fellows, New Leaders for New Schools, and Startup Weekend. He is the creator of the Blend My Learning website, focused on innovations in the ed tech sector. Brian received his B.A. from Dartmouth College and a M.Ed. from Harvard University.
Kate Coxon
Kate Coxon is a producer at Intentional Futures, a Seattle-based consulting and design firm with a passion for edtech. Through December 2012, she was Rocketship Education’s Senior Director of Individualization: in that role, she developed and implemented strategy for blended learning and tutoring for a network of seven high-performing elementary charter schools in the Bay Area. As part of this work, Kate managed the design and development of Rocketship’s platform for online learning, including the creation of tools for assessment, reporting, and lab management; her team also selected the suite of online learning programs used by 3,800 students across the network. Previously, she was a Teach for America corps member and teacher in the Alum Rock Union School District, as well as a teacher and dean at Rocketship schools in San Jose. Kate has a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
