The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools (NAPCS) just released a new report on the top 25 congressional districts by number of charter school students and schools. The report’s findings show that within the 435 congressional districts in the United States, 67 districts have more than 10,000 students enrolled in public charter schools and 102 districts have 20 or more public charter schools.
The report also lists the current member of Congress for each of the top districts and how they voted on H.R. 10, the Success and Opportunity through Quality Charter Schools Act, which passed the House of Representatives with wide bipartisan support on May 9, 2014.
According to NAPCS, the top five congressional districts by number of public charter school students are:
