WA Charters Student Advisory Group

Now accepting applications through September 24!

About the Program

This school year (2025–26), WA Charters is launching the WA Charters Student Advisory Group (WCSAG), giving eight charter high school students a behind-the-scenes look at how policy, advocacy, and communications shape public education in Washington.

Students will work with WA Charters’ Government Relations, Communications, and Advocacy leaders to help plan the Day of Learning and Day of Advocacy at the state capitol, track legislation, build student advocacy teams, interview lobbyists and partners, and write a bi-weekly newsletter column.

It’s a chance to gain real-world experience in state government, advocacy, communications, and leadership.

📅Program Dates: October 24 – May 1

Time Commitment: 2–4 hours per week

💵Stipend: $500
