Launch of New “Game Changers” Blog Series BACK TO BLOG | NEWS

WA Charters is excited to launch a blog series next week that celebrates exceptional ‘game changers’ across our state’s charter public school sector. Game changers are individuals – teachers, founders, educators, parents, and students – who are challenging traditional boundaries, pushing against systemic barriers, and going above and beyond to change the game in K-12 education.

Within our state’s charter public school sector, we have many talented and inspiring game changers. They are parents, teachers, students, and community leaders. These folks are taking bold new approaches to teaching, academics and social-emotional learning, and redefining and deepening family and community engagement. And they are demonstrating by example what is possible for future students who have yet to find a school that fits their needs, interests, and learning style.

While our game changers play a variety of roles and offer diverse experiences and perspectives, they all are change agents for equity and innovation in education. We are inspired by the tenacity, grit, and heart that every game changer puts into their work to make a positive difference for the future.

In these particularly challenging times, we want to celebrate members of our community who inspire us. We are humbled to be sharing their stories of hope and optimism for our future.

Make sure to follow @WA_Charters to be inspired by these amazing individuals!
