Our hearts are with the grieving families of Adam Toledo, Daunte Wright, and all victims of racist violence and their loved ones. Our systems of policing are making a continued statement that Black and Brown lives do not matter. For Black and Brown folks this loss, grief, and trauma is generational and ongoing.
At WA Charters, we recognize that work, particularly by and among white people, to end white supremacy in all forms, is an urgent priority. We will continue to work deeply and intentionally to dismantle white supremacy that leads to bloodshed, racism, and murder at the hands of the state, and we welcome engagement from white folks in our community to step up and take action.
To our Black, Brown, Asian, Indigenous, and sisters and brothers of color: we see you. We hope that anyone looking for resources will find something useful on our Anti-Racism resource page. We also welcome suggestions on additional resources to share with our community.
