On June 7, the state Supreme Court issued its final order on the McCleary case. In response, WA Charters issued the following statement:
The state Supreme Court’s final McCleary order represents a significant step toward ensuring that public schools across the state have access to more funds to provide quality education to Washington kids. However, while this order marks the end of the McCleary case, our collective work to create an equitable education system for all Washington kids is far from over. We remain committed to ensuring that every student – regardless of zip code, race, language, or learning needs – has access to an equitably funded, excellent public education.
