Vendor Partner Spotlight: Edgenuity

Edgenuity supports charter public schools across the country. As a 2018 WA Charters Conference sponsor, they are a key partner in bringing high-quality education programming and support to charter public schools in our state, as well.

We recently sat down with Edgenuity for a quick Q+A about what makes their organization tick.

Q: Tell us a little bit about what your organization does. What is its mission?

A: Edgenuity provides a full suite of K-12 curriculum, supplemental materials and instructional services. Our solution can be customized to support online and blended learning models for a variety of course curriculum across the grades.

We address needs including Intervention, Core Curriculum for Blended Learning, Advanced Placement (AP®), Electives, Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Credit Recovery. In addition, we provide instructional services and extensive Professional Development support. Our mission is to help all learners reach their full potential.

Q: What is your organization’s why? What problem are you solving for?

A: We provide opportunity and access to high quality education using technology to improve student outcomes.

Q: How does your work align with charter public schools? Tell us about current partnerships/collaborations with schools (including but not limited to charters and/or WA state). What future types of collaboration with our growing charter school sector in WA excite you?

A: Our solution enables many aspects of the mission of charter schools, including the freedom to experiment, to empower students, and to be creative in terms of organization, scheduling, curriculum, and instruction.  The desire to innovate within charter schools, coupled with the flexibility of our online curriculum and materials, is a powerful partnership that can transform the classroom.
