Offering middle and high school in southeast Seattle’s Rainier Valley community, Rainier Valley Leadership Academy’s mission is to put every child on the path to success in college, leadership, and life. Respecting and celebrating the wealth and vitality of the ethnic and cultural traditions that thrive in the Rainier Valley, RVLA offers integrated college-preparation and hands-on instruction to expose all students to a variety of experiences.

Rooted School – Vancouver

The mission of Rooted School is for students to graduate high school with a diploma in one hand, and a job offer in the other. Behind Rooted School’s the deep belief that our communities can do more to help young people on the lower rungs of the economic ladder rise up in their lifetimes. Rooted School will offer opportunities that do not exist anywhere else.

Spokane International Academy

Spokane International Academy (SIA) is a K-12 school that empowers its students with the academic skills, habits of mind and global competence necessary to complete advanced courses in high school and a college degree in order to become leaders who can powerfully transform our communities.

Summit Public Schools: Atlas

Summit Atlas serves middle and high schoolers from the diverse communities of West Seattle and White Center. Summit Atlas believes that every student is capable of college and career success and strives to reach every student and ensure they leave high school with the skills, knowledge, and habits they need to succeed. Summit is dedicated to ensuring every student can lead a fulfilled life, one with purposeful work; financial security; fulfilling personal relationships; engagement in the community; and the physical health needed to engage in daily life. 100% of Summit students graduate college-ready.

Summit Public Schools: Olympus

Summit Olympus serves high schoolers from the diverse communities of Tacoma. Summit Olympus believes that every student is capable of college and career success and strives to reach every student and ensure they leave high school with the skills, knowledge, and habits they need to succeed. Summit is dedicated to ensuring every student can lead a fulfilled life, one with purposeful work; financial security; fulfilling personal relationships; engagement in the community; and the physical health needed to engage in daily life. Last year, 100% of Summit Olympus’s inaugural graduating class were accepted to four-year colleges.

Whatcom Intergenerational High School

Whatcom Intergenerational High School envisions learning designed with students and supported by elders generating deep inquiry skills, thoughtful interactions, and critical consciousness, ensuring every young person can contribute to a more just and sustainable world

We plan to serve a diverse student body ensuring that ALL Whatcom County high school students – regardless of their life circumstances – develop the skills and agency for success in college, career and life.

Why Not You Academy surrounds students with a web of supports, from caring teachers, success-focused peers, experienced school leaders, mentors from the professional community, and internships focused on real-world applications of their classroom learning. Why Not You Academy focuses on building achievement, community, and empowerment. Students learn to think critically, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively.
